One Christmas Song A Day. #4 Snoopy’s Christmas by The Royal Guardsmen.

Christmas song #4 comes from 1967 and my childhood beach holidays at Arkles Bay in New Zealand.  Snoopy’s Christmas by The Royal Guardsmen was a favourite for me, partly because the lyric contained the words “bloody red baron” which we considered very naughty!  “Bloody” pales into insignificance when listening to todays music.

The Royal Guardsmen originated from Florida.  They made several  more Snoopy inspired songs as follow up’s e.g Snoopy vs The Red Baron.  This was the time of bubblegum music and this was a perfect example.  Please enjoy
